Blue Ridge

After fleeing from Baghdad to Turkey with her mother and brothers following her father's disappearance in 2007, she and her family were resettled in Virginia. She is currently a student at Blue Ridge Community College, working two full-time jobs. She plans to continue her education and to work in the field of human services.
